Rowan Henthorn

Rowan is a marine scientist and environmental communicator, dedicated to learning from, and protecting the natural world.

She has a BSc in Ocean Science, and an MSc in Applied Marine Science from Plymouth University, and has worked on projects relating to marine plastic pollution, climate change and environmental communication.

Rowan grew up on the Isle of Man, but has worked all over the world, where she has been lucky enough to see some of the most breath taking ocean beauty, and also conversely, some of the most devastating effects of our destructive ways.

She is delighted to be working on a project that aims to protect and restore our wonderful living seas, especially on the island that first inspired her.
